What Shall We Do Today

10 printable activity cards to spark conversation and enjoy time together.

Sample preview

Wondering what to suggest today? This collection gives carers and families ten activity cards to explore with the person they support, guided by their interests, preferences and energy.

Enjoy music, explore favourite programmes, share stories through photographs or discover something new together. Each card offers a starting point, with room to follow wherever the conversation leads.

Use the cards on screen or print them for easy reference. Quieter alternatives make it easy to keep things simple when a short activity or a peaceful moment together feels right.

The ten cards cover:

Each card includes an estimated time, what you’ll need, a conversation starter, simple steps, a quieter option, a link to the person’s life and practical considerations.
